Ah, the weekend...
For many, weekends are chance to exhale, to lean into recreation, to attend to personal errands and chores.
For some, it means leaning back to enjoy a favorite sports event on TV. For others, a recharge between busy weeks. Or charity work, friends and family, a church service, games, projects.
Bottom line: however it looks, we need these times—measured in days or sometimes just hours—to recharge and recalibrate.
But you know who doesn't do weekends?
Homeless people.
Every day is the same grind for survival. The same crushing weight of stress, danger, and uncertainty.
We can’t forget. Let's remember that some people never have the luxury of a vacation, a weekend, or a brief reprieve.
Pray for them. Seek them out. Do what you can.
