Where it all began. A magazine written and sold by people facing homelessness.
Since 2011, Speak Up has been publishing work from writers facing homelessness who had no other voice. In print and online, these writers and stories will surprise, educate, and inspire.
The model
Launched in 2011 in Charlotte, NC, Speak Up Magazine is based on a transformative model of empowerment and opportunity.
- People facing homelessness write their stories.
- Those stories become a magazine.
- They sell the magazine and keep the money.
- It creates a cycle of dignity and income.
York County Prayer

The mission of York County Prayer is to catalyze prayer in York County through online and on-the-ground efforts, which cross denominational lines and seek to unify the body of Christ for the benefit of the community.
Art Collective
Tuesdays, 1–3 PM

The Table
A small, welcoming monthly gathering of food, fellowship, sharing, and song.

We’re renovating a 1967 Airstream to become a mobile prayer room. It will go to schools, hospitals, businesses, festivals—a place of welcome, evangelism, prayer, and fellowship for all.

An online platform for mobilizing personal prayer campaigns.
Over the years we have gathered people together for virtual prayer campaigns—for restored relationships, healing, and areas of great brokenness.
We’ve seen the impossible happen as dozens have agreed in faith through unbroken multi-day prayer campaigns: definite healing, breakthrough, impossible peace, restorations, and so much more.

We’re figuring this out in real time. Initially the Speak Up Athletic Club will be a regular gathering for running in Rock Hill, SC. We’d love to see additional meetups formed and hosted.
